Diamonds weighing 1 carat are “integrated” into it
Mercedes-Benz presented a new special version of the retiring Mercedes-Benz G-Class of the current generation. The car was named Mercedes-Benz G500 Stronger Than Diamonds, and this designation hides its feature – inlaid with diamonds.
The designers came up with an interesting place for «integration» diamonds in the interior: they were hidden in door locks («studs»). There are four locks in total in the car, each – from 0.25 carats.
Mercedes-Benz G500 Stronger Than Diamonds is painted in a special matte pink color, while many external elements (mesh in the bumper, rear-view mirror housings, roof, logos) – black. The headlights are also blackened, and the 20-inch multi-spoke wheels – from AMG. The interior is also black, but with silver accents.
In terms of technology, nothing new – under the hood is a 4.0-liter V8 engine that accelerates the SUV to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. A total of 300 units of Mercedes-Benz G500 Stronger Than Diamonds will be produced and will be distributed to dealers in different countries. In China, the cost of a car is 353 thousand dollars.
