This is the production plan of the United Engine Corporation
A representative of the United Engine Corporation (UEC), part of Rostec, speaking at the exhibition-forum «Russia» within the framework of the plenary session «Industrial sovereignty — foundations of the economy of the future», spoke about the production plan for 2024. And this plan is impressive: UEC plans to significantly increase the production of power plants for aircraft and helicopters.
In fact, we are talking about a doubling of production volumes if we compare 2024 with 2022. If we compare 2024 with 2023, then the production volume of gas turbine units should increase by 863 units. UEC itself calls this growth in engine production volumes “explosive.” The warehouse also indicates a plan for 2025: next year UEC plans to produce 3,763 power units.
The basis of production volume will be the PD-8 and PD-14 engines for domestic passenger airliners SJ-100 and MS-21, turboshaft VK-1600V and VK-650V for helicopters Ka-62, Ka-226 and ;laquo;Ansat», TV7-117ST-01 for the Il-114-300 aircraft, as well as the single-shaft gas turbine GTD-110M for driving electric generators in gas turbine power and combined-cycle plants.
