There is already a decent queue lined up for this car in China
The Car of 2023 in China, according to users of the largest local social network Weibo, was the 5-meter Aito M7 crossover. He beat other cars proposed for voting by the competition jury.
Huawei Managing Director and Chairman of Smart Car Solutions Yu Chengdong has already responded to this news: he wrote on Weibo that the Aito M7 received a high award for “wisdom and quality.” Under «wisdom» he, apparently, understands the intellectual capabilities of the machine: at the end of the year, a new version of the Aito M7 with the ADS 2.0 system was introduced in China – the crossover received support for an unmanned driving system on highways and in urban areas without the use of highly detailed navigation maps.
Meanwhile, in China there is already a decent queue lined up for the Aito M7: according to official data, in the four months since the start of sales, the volume of orders for this model has exceeded 130 thousand.
Aito M7 — it's a hybrid. The base powerplant produces 272 hp. (rear-wheel drive), in the top version all-wheel drive and 449 hp. power. Maximum power reserve – 1200 or 1100 km depending on the version. On pure electricity, the Aito M7 can travel up to 200 km. The car can be either five- or seven-seater. Price at the start of sales — from 47 780 dollars.
In 2024, Huawei crossovers and SUVs (including the Aito M7) will officially appear in Russia. The distributor was the company «MB Rus» – former Mercedes-Benz representative office in Russia.
