Suicide Squad won't turn into Anthem. Developers will not refuse the announced content

Gamers wrote off the game from the very first demonstration of gameplay. This is not surprising, since the authors of the brilliant Batman trilogy made a service game that looked much weaker than Rocksteady’s previous projects.

Suicide Squad is currently struggling to break the 200 concurrent players barrier on Steam. A depressing result for a service game.

Many were sure that the project would soon be closed. Even large promotions and content updates did not help. The issue was brought to the attention of Warner Bros., which confirmed that it will stick to its current development plan for Suicide Squad. It includes four seasons.

The first season of the first year has recently started, but further information will have to wait. Each season introduces one new character and adds other entertainment. But updates have a slight effect on the number of players.

Respawn has partially fixed a bug that was setting Apex Legends players back several months.

The question arises: “What happens next”? Will the fourth season be the last? Service games usually take years to develop, but Suicide Squad is unlikely to be one of them. Four seasons are planned within the first season.
