Xiaomi has a new router with support for Wi-Fi 7: the new product, called Xiaomi BE5000, can already be bought in China, price — only 40 dollars.
Xiaomi BE5000 runs HyperOS and supports the creation of MESH networks. Maximum data transfer speed on a wired network — 5011 Mbps. According to the creators, the throughput and data transfer speed, in comparison with Wi-Fi 6, are 68% and 48% higher, respectively. Multi-Link Operation and Xrange 2.0 technologies are designed to make it easier to connect devices to the router and expand coverage.
Xiaomi BE5000 received five antennas, one 2.5 Gbps port and three gigabit ports. It is not yet known whether Xiaomi plans to release this model in the global market.
