The company is going to sell 20 million of these SoCs
MediaTek seems to have made the right bet on its new flagship SoC Dimensity 9300.
Last year, the company's revenue from the sale of flagship SoCs grew by 70%, to more than $1 billion. Of course, this is a merit not only of the company’s newest platform, but MediaTek itself speaks of very good sales of the Dimensity 9300.
According to forecasts, the total supply of this SoC over the entire period will amount to about 20 million units, which will become a new record for the company’s flagship platforms. This is likely much less than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC will sell, but for MediaTek, whose sales are primarily concentrated around low-cost platforms, this is a great achievement.
Recall that Dimensity 9400, according to the first leaks, will be similar to Dimensity 9300 in terms of the absence of small processor cores, although the cluster of large ones will change somewhat.
