We know at least a number of names
AMD Hawk Point processors have appeared on the Internet. More precisely, so far only their names.
Actually, there is nothing unexpected in the names. The new mobile line, as expected, will be called Ryzen 8000, and will include Ryzen 8000H/HS/U APUs.
About a dozen models are already known:
- Ryzen 5 8640U;
- Ryzen 7 8840U;
- Ryzen 5 Pro 8640U;
- Ryzen 7 Pro 8840U;
- Ryzen 5 8640HS;
- Ryzen 7 8840HS;
- Ryzen 5 8640H;
- Ryzen 7 8840H;
- Ryzen 9 8940H.
Let us remind you that technically these processors will differ quite little from their analogues from the Ryzen 7000 line. AMD will retain Zen 4 cores and GPUs based on the RDNA 3 architecture. We will receive new Ryzen APUs with RDNA 3.5 next year as part of other lines.
