218-horsepower 2-liter engine in the top version and a new interior, but no all-wheel drive
In Russia, sales of the brand new Geely Atlas (aka Atlas L, aka Boyue L) started at the beginning of this year, and in China (and at the dealer) a restyled version of the crossover has already been filmed. The outside of the car has not changed, all innovations — inside.
Atlas 2024 is most easily identified by its «floating» media system screen: it no longer rests on the central tunnel. The display orientation is still vertical, the diagonal is 13.2 inches.
The gear shift lever has been changed, the cup holder niche has been covered with a lid, the center armrest is now hinged and is almost flush with the central tunnel. A rear-view mirror adjustment unit has appeared on the door, the door cards have changed.
Already in the base, the new Atlas has a digital instrument panel with a 10.25-inch diagonal screen, a panoramic roof with a sunroof, an all-round viewing system and an electrically adjustable driver's seat. The hardware platform of the infotainment system — SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155, software platform — Geely Galaxy OS 2.0.
The crossover base has a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 181 hp, in two top trim levels (there are five in total) — 2-liter turbo engine with 218 hp. Both internal combustion engines will be combined with a 7-speed robot. Interestingly, there is no all-wheel drive. Prices for the Geely Atlas 2024 have not yet been announced, but the car may even become cheaper — Almost all automakers in China have recently reduced the cost of their cars.
