During CES 2024, ASUS demonstrated a portable ZenScreen Fold OLED monitor MQ17QH. This is the world's first device with a flexible OLED panel and a special mechanism that allows it to fold and unfold.
When unfolded, the display has a diagonal of 17.3 inches. This is still a far cry from the usual 24- or 27-inch office monitors, but much better than what ultraportable laptops can provide. The ASUS ZenScreen Fold uses an OLED panel with a QHD resolution (2560×1920 pixels). The display is capable of displaying 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and is certified DisplayHDR True Black 500.
The water drop-shaped hinge allows for smooth changes in viewing angles. A standard tripod port allows you to adapt to different installation options. Mini-HDMI interfaces and two USB-C ports are available for connecting signal sources. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack. The device has a thickness of 9.7 mm (at its thinnest point when unfolded) and a weight of 1.2 kg. It comes with a protective travel case.
The price of ASUS ZenScreen Fold OLED MQ17QH is stated at $2000.
