In particular, Nvidia will create specialized chips for companies involved in cloud computing and artificial intelligence, but the company is also interested in the automotive industry, telecommunications and the gaming market.
Now Nvidia produces ready-made GPUs for gaming video cards, professional cards and accelerators for AI. However, these ready-made solutions are not always optimal for the specific tasks of specific companies. That's why Nvidia wants to create semi-custom, customized solutions for each customer's needs. Representatives from Google, Microsoft, Amazon and OpenAI have already met with Nvidia representatives to discuss options.
Nvidia is likely primarily targeting the data center and AI markets, but it is also interested in the gaming market, which means that in the future we may see game consoles based on Nvidia GPUs. However, one of these is expected to be released this year — Nintendo Switch 2.
