With the launch of the Honor Edition, car sales soared 3.5 times
The BYD Song Pro DM-i Honor Edition crossover, which appeared on the Chinese market at the very beginning of March, became a real sensation: according to BYD itself, the car sold 30 309 units in a month. That is, approximately 1,000 crossovers are sold per day. This is an indicator of great success.
Total sales of BYD Song Pro DM-i have already exceeded 260 thousand units. If we talk about the Honor Edition, then the release of a new version on the market was absolutely the right decision: in March, sales of the crossover soared by 256.5% compared to February.
Recall that BYD Song Pro DM-i Honor Edition turned out to be almost 3 thousand dollars cheaper than the regular Song Pro DM-i, but this did not affect the equipment. The crossover received a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 110 hp. and an electric motor with a power of 197 hp, declared consumption — only 4.4 l/100 km, range on pure electricity — 59 or 85 km.
