The anniversary launch took place on January 14
The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched 23 Starlink satellites on January 14, 2024. This was the company's historic 300th successful launch.
Everything went smoothly, as SpaceX reported on social network X: «Falcon 9 delivered 23 @Starlink satellites from Florida into orbit — This is our 300th successful launch!».
Falcon 9's first stage returned to Earth approximately eight minutes after liftoff and successfully landed on the unmanned ship A Shortfall of Gravitas, which was in the Atlantic Ocean. This was the 12th launch and landing of this launch vehicle.
In 2023, SpaceX has completed 96 successful missions, safely sent 12 more astronauts into orbit, completed two flight tests of Starship, and more than doubled the number of people worldwide connected via satellite internet.
Presumably, by the end of the year SpaceX can increase the total number of successful launches to 400.
