Elon Musk is not impressed with the GPT-4o AI language model presented by OpenAI . The billionaire criticized the company’s demonstration of its new artificial intelligence model called GPT-4o, which, in his opinion, “drives into cringe.” OpenAI unveiled the new model on Monday and showed off its improved voice and visual capabilities. GPT-4o functions as a digital assistant and allows users to communicate verbally and visually with the bot, just like a real person.

Musk left comments on several posts that ridiculed the new update. The billionaire previously sued OpenAI, accusing the company of abandoning its fundamental principles amid a multibillion-dollar partnership with Microsoft. He left the company he helped found in 2018 and has since criticized it constantly, particularly for ChatGPT's “leftist bias.”
Musk launched a rival artificial intelligence company, xAI, and his own chatbot, Grok. Tesla's CEO also took the time to comment on the Grok post – he says the bot will receive a “major update” soon.
Users of the social network X were quick to respond: “You make millions of cringes a day, so welcome to the club.”
