The restyled Tesla Model 3 won a large test in which the Motor.no resource brought together cars from different manufacturers, different classes and with different engines.

The upgraded Tesla Model 3 was named “The Best Car You Can Buy in Norway” after a test involving 50 different models. The latest Model 3s are supplied to Norway from China.

The new Tesla Model 3 participated in a large test along with Model Y, as well as BMW iX, Volkswagen ID.3, MG4, Peugeot e-2008, Renault Megane and many other cars. In the end, the Model 3 won the Best Small Family Car category and overall. The Model Y crossover took first place in the mid-size car group. The top 3 in this category also included Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6.

Motor.no reviewers noted that after restyling, Model 3 finally got rid of most of the shortcomings. The quality of finishing has improved, while at the same time the cabin has become quieter due to more noise-absorbing materials, as well as “acoustic” glass at the rear.

Norway has one of the highest penetration rates of electric vehicles in the world, so it's no surprise that many battery-powered cars are winning in categories that include both conventional combustion cars and electric cars. In the first 10 months of this year, more than 87 thousand electric vehicles were sold in Norway, accounting for 83.5% of the market. Plug-in hybrids occupy 7% of the market. The remaining 9.5% is divided between gasoline and diesel cars.
