The “Original” mark works in test mode
The team of the largest Russian online trading platform Wildberries has launched a new useful feature. Mark «Original» appeared in the cards of goods of famous brands, if the seller confirmed the right to sell these goods and provided all the necessary documents.
The press service explained:
The icon will help customers choose products from well-known brands, whose products are often copied. Now the mark is visible only to users of the wildberries.ru website; it will appear in the mobile application a little later.
At the first stage of implementation, the mark is assigned to manufacturers of well-known brands, their official distributors and dealers after checking the documents — the current contract, information on payment for delivery and others. In the future, other marketplace sellers will also have the opportunity to confirm the originality of the product.
