Let's sum up the results of the past week, remember and comment on everything that the gaming industry has managed to distinguish itself with
In the new video, we summarize the results of the past week, discussing the most interesting events that happened to gaming companies, publishers and studios.
The most important and, to some extent, exciting event was the dissatisfaction of the developers of “Smuta” with our video about the game. There was no clear answer from Cyberia Nova; instead, the developers simply stated that our opinion could not be trusted, without answering in any way what we said in the video.
We are also discussing the ongoing decline of the Swedish holding company Embracer Group, which until relatively recently showed such great promise, simultaneously developing several large projects at once. Now the company is laying off hundreds of employees, dissolving studios and canceling projects.
Sony is also facing big problems, facing a nearly $8 billion lawsuit over PS Store prices. It is unlikely that the company will be obliged to pay this amount, but the very fact that the case was started and they were going to consider it in court already deserves attention.
