Production start expected next year

AvtoVAZ has already assembled about ten Lada Aura prototypes, as reported by «Russian Cars» with reference to our own insider.

According to a source from Russian Cars, AvtoVAZ has already assembled about 10 Lada Aura prototypes, some of them with a fabric interior (remember, the demo sample has leather seat upholstery).

The source adds that the equipment for the manufacture of some of the original elements was brought from China, while for the manufacture of some parts they are still using bypass technology.

Lada Aura has already passed along the AvtoVAZ conveyor in test mode: «They drove the car along the conveyor on suspension, to see if it would hit something or not».
