Director of Retail Sales AG «Avilon» Ilya Petrov announced what new Chery products will appear in Russia next year.
«A large number of new products are expected for the Chery brand next year. For example, Chery Tiggo 9 and Arizzo 8 1.6T+2.0T MY should be available in the second quarter. Then, during the year, we expect the arrival of four more new products for this brand — these are Chery Tiggo 4, Tiggo 8, plug-in hybrid Arizzo 8 and Tiggo 7», — he stated.
Ilya Petrov confirmed that Jetour will release at least the Jetour T2 model. This was previously confirmed by Jetour itself.
In November it became known that the company JSC «Chery Automobiles Rus» focuses its efforts on promoting cars using alternative energy sources. In 2024, new cars with hybrid powertrains and fully electric cars under the Chery NEV brand will appear on the market. In particular, it was reported that in 2024, 7 models will appear on the Russian market – 4 cars with a hybrid power plant and 3 cars with full electric traction.
The first new product out of seven planned will be the eQ1 city car. The car interior is designed for four people. The car will be available with a power plant of 41 or 75 hp, as well as a power reserve from 250 to 400 km.
