These are the first models of a separate brand Chery NEV
The resource «Chinese cars» Photos have appeared from the closed presentation of Chery for dealers — At the event, new cars for the Russian market were presented; they will go on sale in 2024.
The new products will be presented as part of the Chery NEV, which will be launched next year. Moreover, it will have its own separate website, and even its own dealer network. The first cars within the Chery NEV brand will be Chery eQ1 and eQ7. This is, respectively, a compact hatchback and a mid-size crossover. Both run solely on electricity.
Chery eQ1 debuted in China in 2017 and has been upgraded several times since then. Obviously, the most current version will be presented in Russia. Dimensions are 3200 × 1670 × 1550 mm with a wheelbase of 2150 mm: despite the fact that there are two doors, four can fit inside. In China, the car is offered with a choice of two electric motors: 41 and 75 hp. Power reserve depending on the capacity of the traction battery — from 251 to 408 km.
Chery eQ7 — more interesting electric car. Its dimensions — 4670 × 1910 × 1660 mm with a wheelbase of 2830 mm. In China, it is exclusively rear-wheel drive with a 210 hp engine. It is not yet clear whether the car will be somehow changed or optimized for Russia. Power reserve — from 412 to 512 km.
