This year the list of models purchased for civil servants is going to be expanded
The Office of the President of the Russian Federation purchased a batch of 105 Lada Vesta cars for Russian officials. According to the department, in order to comply with the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the priority use of Russian cars when servicing civil servants, stage-by-stage work was organized to replace foreign official vehicles with models of Russian brands.
The Presidential Administration also noted that vehicles that have reached the end of their service life, the further operation of which requires additional financial costs, must be replaced first. Such cars will be sold at open auction, and the proceeds will be spent on the purchase of new cars and equipment for them. In addition, targeted subsidies are allocated for the purchase of domestic cars.
This year the department plans to expand the list of models of highly localized domestic cars purchased for civil servants. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation recommended cars of the Lada, Aurus, UAZ, «Moskvich», Evolute and Haval brands for priority use by state and municipal employees for official purposes.
