Buy one monitor, but get two different ones. VESA introduced the Adaptive-Sync 1.1a standard for dual-mode monitors

For example, 4K UHD at 144 Hz and Full HD at 280 Hz

There may be many more dual-mode monitors on the market soon.

The VESA Association introduced the Adaptive-Sync 1.1a standard with two display modes. The press release cites two specific modes as examples: 4K UHD at 144 Hz and Full HD at 280 Hz. But this is just an example, so manufacturers will be able to implement other parameters. We have already seen Asus and LG monitors with Full HD at 480 Hz and 4K UHD at 240 Hz modes.

Thus, in the near future we should expect new announcements of similar models with different parameters and different screen diagonals. It is worth understanding that the panel itself physically still has a very specific resolution, so setting a lower resolution will have a corresponding effect on the image.
