This electric car has been on sale in Belarus for more than six months
Belarusian service Zeekrminsk.by (Pekin Motors) spoke about breakdowns of the Zeekr X crossover. Let us remember that this model was released only a year ago, but has been sold unofficially in Belarus for more than six months (the popularity of the car is due to zero « customs clearance of electric vehicles in a neighboring country). Therefore, Belarusian repairmen have already accumulated some experience working both with Zeekr X and with Zeekr machines in general.
It is difficult to judge the reliability of this model globally, but two cases described by Zeekrminsk.by make us wary. The first is described in the video below: the crossover fell apart on a run of 1600 km… motor.
The video clearly shows the hewn teeth of the gears and an abundance of metal debris inside the unit body. On the one hand, it is unknown how exactly the breakdown occurred, but on the other hand, the manufacturer must put a decent resource into the units of the electric vehicle (and even more so the electric motor) so that this does not happen.
Second case – and completely from the category of typical engineering mistakes (or childhood diseases). A Zeekr X arrived for service with only 200 km of mileage and… 20 errors on the instrument panel. It was not possible to overcome the errors with the ABS sensor, but already at the inspection stage with the wheel removed, a break in the ABS sensor wire was discovered. A new part will have to wait 30 days, so the client agreed to repair it using the re-soldering method.
