Baldur's Gate 3 has just appeared in Japan, and some of the content has been edited. Larian's creative approach also manifests itself in censorship
Baldur’s Gate 3 has just arrived in Japan. This is due to the fact that certain changes had to be prepared for this country.
This applies not only to cruel scenes, such as the ability to torture prisoners in the goblin camp (which is not in the Japanese version ), they also decided to cover up some interesting parts of the characters.
When trying to undress the character, players will be greeted by a huge leaf (18+) from below. For some, this may seem like a huge loss, but for a significant part of the Japanese community, it is an impressive decision. Larian complied with the rules of the regulator, but at the same time I don’t particularly want to criticize such “regulation”.
The fact is that such a “leaf” occupies a special place in Japanese culture, for example thanks to “Yatta!” Green Leaves.
