It is planned to produce single-sided, double-sided and multilayer boards – up to 12 layers

Omsk Research Institute of Instrument Engineering of the Ruselectronics holding has increased its production capacity for printed circuit boards, including high-precision ones, the Rostec press service reports. Now the enterprise will be able to produce up to 2500 sq. m double-sided and 500 sq. m of multilayer printed circuit boards per year.

New modern equipment will make it possible to produce single-sided, double-sided, multilayer (up to 12 layers) and microstrip printed circuit boards of the third and fourth class and even with elements of the fifth class of accuracy. The quality of printed circuit boards is checked by installing electrical control and automatic optical inspection, which significantly reduces the influence of the human factor, noted Rostec.

«New equipment will allow us not only to raise the quality of printed circuit boards to a fundamentally new level, but has already helped us achieve an increase in labor productivity in a number of operations. For example, the operation of pre-tightening PCB holes has been reduced by 1.5 times, and the operations of pressing multilayer PCBs, etching layers and machining PCBs – 2 times.
