Samsung is upping the ante to become a stronger competitor to TSMC. Reportedly, within the company there is a whole strategy called Nemo, the goal of which — get orders from Nvidia.

We are talking in this case about the 3 nm process technology (GAA), which will compete with the current 3 nm process technology from TSMC. Mass production of such products should start in the near future.

What kind of chips Samsung wants to make for Nvidia is unclear, but it should be something from future generations. The last time the companies collaborated was in the era of Ampere consumer graphics cards, whose GPUs were produced at Samsung factories at 8 nm standards.
