Serial production starts in May
AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov confirmed that the assembly of prototypes of Lada Largus cars with an internal combustion engine has begun in Izhevsk, which he called “a very long-awaited product for the market.”
He added that the launch of mass production of gasoline cars is expected in May. And already in the third quarter, serial production of the electric Lada Largus will start.
Even now, these days, the first samples of Lada Largus are already being assembled by our team in Izhevsk. Thus, we are ahead of schedule in terms of transferring capacity to this site. And this is of course the success of our team, such a small victory.
