The torque of the new 3.0-liter diesel engine reaches 670 Nm
BMW is expanding the engine range of the new «five» in the back of a G60. At the start of sales, the car was offered with four-cylinder engines, not particularly powerful, but now the range is expanding with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine.
This engine is equipped with a 48-volt starter-generator, power is 303 hp, torque — impressive 670 N·m. With such an engine «five» accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.2 s, and average consumption is 6.5 liters per 100 km.
The second innovation affects the hybrid BMW 530e: the car retains the 299 hp power plant. based on a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (it works in conjunction with an 8-speed automatic transmission), but now this version has all-wheel drive. And such a power plant will be available for both sedans and station wagons.
The prices are considerable: a BMW 5-series with a six-cylinder engine costs from 69 thousand euros, an all-wheel drive hybrid — from 67.5 thousand euros.
And today BMW introduced a new “troika”: it has 530 hp. in the top version of M3 and BMW operating system 8.5.
