Filmmakers have their eyes on the Borderlands franchise. As is often the case with video game adaptations, fans of the original weren't thrilled with what they saw.
The IGN YouTube channel presented a teaser for the Borderlands movie. It is expected that the full trailer will be presented tomorrow.
However, even this segment was enough to cause noticeable outrage in the Borderlands fan community and generate many jokes. The fact is that some actors are “aged” and this is very noticeable, especially in the case of Lilith. One of the commentators played up the situation: “The film was shot for so long that Lilith aged 30 years.”
The role of Lilith in the Borderlands film is played by Cate Blanchett (54 years old); other characters: Kevin Hart (Roland), Florian Munteanu (Krieg), Jack Black (Claptrap), Jamie Lee Curtis (Patricia Tannis) and Ariana Greenblatt (Tiny Tina).
If nothing changes, the Borderlands movie will premiere on August 9, 2024.
