The chatbot will advise citizens and fill out applications for them
On «State Services» a chatbot with artificial intelligence may appear, said the Minister of Digital Development of the Russian Federation, Maksut Shadayev, as part of the Digital Almaty 2024 digital forum that opened in Almaty. According to Shadayev, the chatbot will be used to consult citizens and will even be able to fill out the necessary applications for a person.
Government services will be provided online. This means that the result will be displayed at the time of request. At the same time, we believe that it is necessary to develop proactive services that can be provided without contact, and all consultations should be performed by ChatGPT, filling out the necessary applications for the person.

As stated in the presentation presented by Shadayev at the forum, start using the technology in «State Services» is planned for 2024. At Digital Almaty, the minister also reported that about 18 million Russians have already connected to biometric profiles.
Later, the Ministry of Digital Development clarified that the Russian language model will be used. Perhaps the minister used the name of the ChatGPT service of the American company Open AI to mean «text generative neural network».
