In terms of sales, it outsold the Lada Niva Travel by a wide margin
Analysts «Avtostat» published data on sales of crossovers and SUVs in Russia in 2023. Haval Jolion was in first place: 55 550 units were sold last year, and this is an increase of 3.2 times compared to 2022.
In second place is Lada Niva Travel with a result of 46 896 cars sold. The top 3 is completed by Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max — 41 057 units sold. It’s interesting that at the beginning of 2023, the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max sold very vigorously; by the middle of the year, Jolion began to catch up with it, and at the end of the year, the Haval model was significantly ahead of the Chery crossover.
The top 5 also included Niva Legend (39,008 units sold) and Geely Coolray, which sold 38,220 copies (and this is an increase of 2.9 times compared to 2022).
The second five most popular crossovers and SUVs in Russia include the following models:
- Omoda C5 (35,841 units);
- Chery Tiggo 4 Pro (32,936 units);
- Geely Monjaro (20,423 units);
- Geely Atlas Pro (17,679 units);
- Haval F7 (16,320 units).
