Sales of Xiaomi SU7 will begin in March, possibly on the 28th

Xiaomi is set to launch its first car called Xiaomi SU7 at a special event at the end of March. Lanjinger reports this with reference to sources within the company.

This coincides with previously published information that deliveries of the car should begin in the second quarter of this year, as stated by Xiaomi President Lu Weibing.

Xiaomi has begun building special stores to sell and service electric vehicles in China. It is reported that Xiaomi will initially build (or upgrade) about 60–70 stores, covering first and second tier cities in China. Additionally, prices for SU7 will be announced very soon.

Last month, a Zeekr executive let slip that Xiaomi would release the SU7 car on March 28th.
