The machine has already been tested and sent to the customer
Omsk engineering company «Policon» developed a machine for assembling aircraft tires for the Russian Tu-214 passenger aircraft. It is noted that there are no analogues of such equipment in Russia now; the new machine will replace outdated equipment from Soviet times. According to the manufacturer, the machine features a modernized design and optimized layout, it provides high productivity and a high degree of automation in all operations.
New machine «Polycon» is intended for the second stage of assembling an aircraft tire for the Tu-214 aircraft, but with the use of additional replacement units, it is possible to assemble other aircraft tires with a landing diameter from 19 inches to 22 inches. Digital technologies are used in the control of the machine, its performance — at least four products per hour. The company has already tested the machine and shipped it to the customer. Previously «Polycon» released import-substituting machines for assembling aircraft tires for Russian MS-21 and SuperJet-100 aircraft.
