Delivery will begin in the fall
The new Renault 5 E-Tech made a big impression after its debut: according to top managers, 50,000 Europeans have already placed orders, making it the most anticipated car from the French brand in recent years.
The Renault 5 E-Tech debuted at the 2024 Geneva Motor Show and will go on sale in many European markets this year, as well as the UK. They promise to launch the configurator in May, the first customers will receive their cars in September-October.
Renault confirmed that they are working to achieve the required production capacity and meet the delivery schedule. Renault describes the Renault 5 E-Tech electric hatchback as an alternative to the Clio, Europe's second most popular small car. The French manufacturer expects the new model to “win many customers” thanks to its attractive starting price of 25 thousand euros. Customers especially liked the unique retro design.
Renault 5 E-Tech on the AmpR Small platform will be available with three electric motor options (95, 120 or 150 hp) and two battery options (40 or 52 kW•h), providing headroom travel up to 400 km.
Renault is proud that they managed to retain 95% of the elements of the 2021 concept car.
