The Ministry of Industry and Trade quickly responded to AvtoVAZ's statement about fake assembly of such cars
In Russia, the assembly of Evolute electric vehicles in Lipetsk may be stopped, as reported by the No Limits Telegram channel.
The point is this: today the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced that the issuance of subsidies (925 thousand rubles) for electric vehicles will be tied to the localization of production in the Russian Federation, that is, equipping with foreign/domestic components.
«The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade is already developing a balanced approach to adjusting the conditions for access of Russian electric vehicles to this mechanism, providing for the inclusion of additional requirements on the required level of localization», — the press service of the ministry reported.
This actually puts an end to the assembly of Evolute brand electric vehicles at the "Motorinvest" family of businessmen Reznikov in Lipetsk. The fact is that this production has what is called "zero" localization. According to AvtoVAZ Vice President for External Relations Boris Gromak — this is a fake assembly. The scandal is gaining momentum.
No Limits
Earlier, AvtoVAZ vice-president for external relations and interaction with shareholders Sergei Gromak called the assembly of Chinese electric vehicles in Russia a fake, and also called the existing approach unacceptable, in which all manufacturers of such cars in the Russian Federation have equal access to government money, allocated for the development of electric transport.
