The price is expected to start at only $150
Mini Maker has shown a very compact mini-PC Turbo Mini X, which is different from most similar products on the market.
The PC dimensions are only 214.6 x 36.3 x 180 mm, that is, the volume is 1.4 liters. At the same time, the body, as you can see, is very thin.
The second feature of the new product — design. It's clear that the manufacturer paid special attention to it, so the Turbo Mini X is not like most mini PCs on the market.
Another feature lies in desktop processors. Despite its modest dimensions, the PC allows you to install full-fledged desktop Intel Core processors in the LGA 1700 version, but there is a limitation in the form of a TPD of 65 W.
But that's not all. The PC itself, of course, does not have a discrete video card, but it allows you to connect an external one. Moreover, for this purpose it is not Thunderbolt 4 or even Oculink that is used, but a full-fledged PCIe interface, which allows the video card to not lose performance with this connection.
As for the rest, there are five USB-A ports, two USB-C, Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 depending on the version, support for DDR4 or DDR5 depending on the version and two ports for SSD .
What’s even more surprising is that the expected price of the Barebone kit is only $150, although this also comes without a processor. The graphics card dock will also cost just $150.
