Tank 400 Hi4-T now has Off Road and City versions
The Great Wall-owned Tank brand presented the updated Tank 400 Hi4-T SUV in China. The car now has two versions: Off Road for 39.5 thousand dollars and City for 40 thousand dollars.
The SUV was updated according to the recipe of the new 500 Hi4-T: the power plant included a 2.0-liter turbo engine operating on the economical Miller cycle (due to this, consumption decreased from 9.52 to 8.8 l/100 km), the media system switched to Software version 1.4, which supports Huawei HiCar and DLNA. Another key innovation — improved part-time all-wheel drive system BorgWarner ESOF.
The dimensions of the SUV are 4985 x 1960 x 1900 mm, wheelbase — 2850 mm. Approach and departure angles — 33° and 30°, minimum ground clearance — 224 mm, fording depth — 800 mm.
In the salon — digital instrument panel with a 12.3-inch diagonal screen, a 16.2-inch diagonal screen as part of the media system, a projection screen and a rear view camera that displays the image on the interior rear view mirror.
The power of the power plant is 408 hp, it includes a 9-speed automatic transmission. Power reserve on pure electricity — 105 km (traction battery capacity — 37.1 kW·h), consumption in hybrid operating mode — 2.06 l/100 km (according to WLTC calculation method).
