The PC version of Horizon Forbidden West has undergone a lot of work, but there are still some problems

Horizon Forbidden West was recently released on PC on Steam; previously the game was exclusive to PlayStation consoles. Nixxes Software promptly released the first patch.

This small hotfix 1.0.38.0 for Horizon Forbidden West fixes some problems that could arise when using the DualSense gamepad. The Nixxes and Guerrilla teams continue to monitor player feedback and issue reports, and more updates are in the works.

Horizon Forbidden hotfix 1.0.38.0 changes West:

  • Improved DualSense support: using a DualSense gamepad connected via a wireless connection should not degrade performance
  • Horizon Forbidden West has added missing hints that appear when connecting a gamepad after starting the game (using Steam Input).

It is not yet known when the authors of Horizon Forbidden West will present the next update.
