JAC introduced a luxury minivan with a 421-horsepower engine that will compete with the best-selling Toyota Alphard back in August and promised to release it in December, but now it has become known that sales will begin on January 31. A total of four models will be produced, priced from $23,900 to $33,600.

This minivan was the first based on the modular platform MUSE (MPV Union Smart Electric), which allows you to create both gasoline and rechargeable hybrids and even electric vehicles. The length, width and height of the new product are 5215, 1895 and 1830 mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 3100 mm.
The equipment includes McPherson front suspension, rear multi-link suspension, internal combustion engine located transversely, front-wheel drive. The regular version is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine (252 hp, 400 Nm), which is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid has a three-motor system, including a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and two electric motors at the front.
The hybrid battery has a capacity of 44.6 kW•h, the system can produce up to 421 hp. and 745 Nm of torque. Without using an internal combustion engine, the minivan can travel up to 200 km, and in mixed mode the range increases to 1200 km.
The car is equipped with an LCD instrument panel and a 15.6-inch central control screen with Huawei Harmony 4.0 operating system.
This year the model will appear on international markets, including Russia.
