The company was accused of dishonesty and illegal practices that violate California law

A 17-year-old NBA 2K fan filed a lawsuit against Take-Two on behalf of his mother. The reason for the young man's dissatisfaction was microtransactions in a series of basketball simulators.

The plaintiff was also extremely angry that Take-Two did not allow the transfer of virtual currency from one game to another, and very quickly shut down the servers of old games, literally taking away from players what they bought with their money.

The lawsuit says it is a ” dishonest ” and ” greedy ” company that violates California law.

“The defendants misappropriated and stole the plaintiff’s property, or fraudulently took away his property, which was entrusted to the defendant,” the case file says.

Take-Two has not commented on the situation. The company's lawyers were not present in the courtroom.
