You no longer have to fear QLC? YMTC memory for your X3-6070 3D QLC NAND memory, which claims reliability at the level of the best TLC chips

Up to 4000 programming/erase cycles

SSDs based on QLC memory are traditionally considered less reliable than those based on TLC memory. Actually, this follows from the technical characteristics of the memory itself. However, it seems that the paradigm is worth reconsidering. Yangtze Memory Technologies has introduced QLC memory, which is comparable in durability to TLC.

YMTC X3-6070 3D QLC NAND memory belongs to the fourth generation of QLC memory, has 128 layers and is based on Xtacking 3.0 architecture with an interface with a speed of 2400 MT/s. And for this memory the manufacturer claims a service life of 4000 write/erase cycles.

Initially, TLC itself was limited to 1000-3000 cycles, but the development of technology made it possible to increase the figure to 4000 cycles. And for QLC the breakthrough turned out to be even more significant, since initially the memory could withstand 1000 cycles at best.
