Intel knows how to create energy-efficient processors? 35-watt Core i5-14600T is only 5-6% slower than the Core i5-14600

But you need to measure the consumption

The energy-efficient Intel Core i5-14600T processor was tested in Geekbench and showed a decent result.

It scored 2626 and 15354 points in single-threaded and multi-threaded modes, respectively. For comparison, the regular Core i5-14600 scores 2,785 and 16,110 points. That is, a difference of 5-6%.

At the same time, recall that the Core i5-14600T has a TDP of 35 W versus 65 W for the Core i5-14600. That is, with an almost twofold difference in TDP, the performance drop is minimal. True, the TDP indicator has long been often very far from real consumption, so without testing the Core i5-14600T it is impossible to draw a final conclusion.
