Today there are quite a few passive cooling systems on the market, and, for example, consumer video cards with such cooling systems cannot be found at all. Therefore, a user of the Reddit forum under the pseudonym Prestigious_Gate_615 decided to assemble such a PC himself.

Its design is interesting because it is based on ordinary coolers that anyone can buy. We are talking about two passive Noctua NH-P1. In this case, one cools the CPU, and the other — GPU.

The first one here is the Ryzen 7 7700X, and the second one — RTX 4060. Both components are quite energy efficient and cool, but still the author decided to slightly limit their power limits. In particular, the RTX 4060 limit was set at 90 W, and the processor operated in economy mode. As a result, the video card heated up to 80-85 degrees, and the CPU temperature reached 88 degrees. Considering that all this is in completely passive mode and without any airflow at all, the result is very good. If all this is installed in the case and proper airflow is implemented, the results should be much better.

As for the assembly, the author printed the parts for the structure on a 3D printer. Separately, it is worth saying that each Noctua cooler weighs almost 1.2 kg, which is worth taking into account in such experiments.
