Instead of a thousand words and questions: everyone can now post videos for advertisements on Avito

The duration of the video can be up to 3 minutes

The team of the popular private classifieds service Avito announced the launch of the ability for all users to add short videos to advertisements.

Previously, the service was tested on a limited number of users and for some product categories. The press service said:

There are more than 170 million active ads on Avito, and the daily audience exceeds 19 million users. To help sellers ease the path to the buyer's heart, the platform has opened the ability for all users to post videos up to 3 minutes long. The video will play directly in the search results. In the ad it will take first place in the gallery – before the photo.

Each user who adds a video to an ad automatically becomes a participant in a competition with valuable prizes. The competition will run until December 20, and winners will be randomly selected on December 22, 2023. The categories participating in the competition are:

  • “Electronics”;
  • “Clothes, shoes, accessories”;
  • “Children's clothing and shoes.”
