One of the PlayStation studios has changed its name due to the departure of its executives.

In 2022, Savage Game Studios joined the PlayStation family and it was a big deal. Developers are not creating games for the PlayStation 5, as the company specializes in developing mobile projects.

It is still unknown what Savage Game Studios' first product will be, although the company has been developing a AAA game service for more than a year. But it turned out that the studio recently lost its leaders.

Michael Cutkoff (co-founder) and Sophie Waugh (CEO) have left the company in recent months, and Mike McManus (head of technology) and Najim Adjir (director and co-founder) are now in charge of the team.

In this regard, even before the official presentation of the new game, a decision was made to change the name – Savage Game Studios was renamed Neon Koi, and it is under this name that “fighting games with epic stories” are being developed for the PlayStation. The company has branches in Helsinki and Berlin.
