Microsoft is betting on a number of technologies implemented with gamers in mind. This applies not only to Cloud Gaming, but also to backward compatibility.
Sarah Bond, one of the presidents of Xbox, posted a graphic of the Xbox 360 logo on Twitter. Followers quickly noticed the message, shared memories of the console, and hinted at a backwards compatibility issue.
Gamers in the comments hope that following the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, the library of Xbox Series X|S games will expand to include the publisher's older games. It is not yet known what the corporation's further actions will be.
Microsoft may be preparing the community for announcements large and small ahead of The Game Awards 2023. This is the perfect opportunity to show off the expansion of backwards compatibility.
