The first PlayStation had many outstanding racing games and various rally brands, including the iconic Colin or V-Rally. It is to them that the Old School Rally pays tribute.
The recently announced indie game Old School Rally from tiny developer Frozen Lake Games will try to remind fans of the good old days of the original PlayStation. Starting from the soundtrack, interface, driving model and ending with graphics. Literally all components have an old-school feel, and it seems that the developers really studied what such hits as Colin McRae Rally 2.0 or V-Rally 2 could boast of.
Release Old School Rally is scheduled to launch on Steam in 2024, but if the game is successful enough, we can expect the project to appear on consoles.
