In the announcement, brand leaders revealed plans to bring Xbox games to more platforms, including PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, both of which have far more users than Xbox. There are currently no plans to offer Game Pass on Sony or Nintendo platforms. Expansion to other platforms opens up opportunities for future investment in the development of these Xbox games. Activision Blizzard's first game on Xbox Game Pass will be Diablo IV, which will be released March 28.< /p>
Game Pass allows players to pay a monthly fee to Microsoft for unlimited access to a library of evolving games that they can play on their consoles or PC. The company states that they “continue to provide gamers with the most reliable and convenient services such as backwards compatibility, cross-play and more. This move confirms Xbox's commitment to expanding its industry geographically, allowing more potential customers to enjoy their games far beyond limits of console ecosystems.
