Accepting pre-orders for electric motorcycles Aurus Merlon has already started, as announced by the acting. Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.

Recall that during the inauguration ceremony of President Vladimir Putin, in addition to the updated Aurus Senat limousine, nine new Aurus Merlon motorcycles rode in the motorcade.
The power of the Merlon electric motor is 190 hp. at 350 Nm of torque. The motorcycle without a side trailer can accelerate to 240 m/h, and it accelerates to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds. The motorcycle battery capacity is 21 kW•h, it should be enough for 200 km. The weight of the version without a trailer is 350 kg.
One of the features of the model is the ability to use the motorcycle at low temperatures – down to minus 25 °C.
Prices have not been announced, but it is known that only 40 motorcycles will be produced this year.
