World of Warcraft is present in many markets. Sometimes Blizzard revises its pricing policy, which at times leads to impressive increases in the cost of subscriptions and other goods
World of Warcraft fans from Argentina were hit by a noticeable price increase. Blizzard has decided to raise the cost of a subscription to MMORPG in the region.
If previously the cost of a World of Warcraft subscription for a player from Argentina was less than 1 dollar (650 pesos), the new cost is about 12 thousand pesos (~$15, if you count without taxes; if you take them into account, the cost will rise to ~20 thousand pesos, i.e. you will have to pay the equivalent of ~$24).
Blizzard intends to convert payments for Battle.net in Argentina from pesos to US dollars in the future. This will save the company from problems with the course, now the players themselves will have to face them.
Due to the peculiarities of the Argentine currency exchange rate, the conditional “$15” per month for a subscription for players, when converted, can easily turn from the current ~12 thousand pesos into a more impressive amount (+ you need to pay taxes on the purchase).
After Battle.net switches to the new currency, the cost of a World of Warcraft subscription in Argentina will be as follows:
- < li>12 months — ~$156
- 6 months —~$78
- 3 months — ~ 42 dollars
- 1 month – ~15 dollars
- 60 days – 30 dollars
