Nubia has announced its plans to soon release a special version of the smartphone called Red Magic 9 Pro Year of the Dragon Limited Edition on the Chinese market. It is known that the smartphone will offer «new configurations, new colors and a new atmosphere».
It is expected that there will be an image of a Chinese dragon on the back panel. The specifications of the smartphone will most likely be the same as the Red Magic 9 Pro, with the exception of possible new memory configurations.
The Red Magic 9 Pro features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 960Hz touch response rate. The display supports 10-bit color depth, provides 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and 1600 cd/m2 brightness. The screen has a built-in fingerprint sensor.
The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Android 14 with Redmagic OS 9.0, it supports dual SIM cards and comes with a 50MP camera. Red Magic 9 Pro is equipped with 165W Magic Flash fast charging, which can charge the battery up to 100% in 16 minutes. In terms of battery life, the Red Magic 9 Pro is equipped with a large 6500 mAh battery in an 8.9 mm thick body. The official claims that «total battery life exceeds 2 days and 2 nights».
